Dream: When it comes to pensions, employment contracts and education, the Netherlands will be a radically different country a decade from now than it is today. People are increasingly expected to be resourceful and rely on their own initiative– and that includes managing their finances. How does this trend affect you and Rabobank?
That were the big themes to dialogue with all 550 employes of the local Rabobank-Utrecht.
Results: Within 7 days in 3 months time we meet all board members, directors, managers and all employees and took key strategic decisions even before the entire co-operative Bank was changing the banking game for all 110 local banks and the entire structur of the organization. Centralising many divisions impacted the local banks enormously and it was announced that over 12,000 employees will leave the bank in the coming years.
Kgotla interventions prepared the employees for large scale change and changing the banking game. At the same time many decisions were taken based on the wisdom of the 550 employees.
